With access to 40 credits of learning at no additional charge and more than 280 high quality CPD opportunities to choose from, PD Passports provide even more value than ever before. CPA Saskatchewan also hosts an annual conference in the spring, in Regina or Saskatoon, providing members with an opportunity to attend sessions, hear from relevant keynote speakers and network with colleagues.

CPA Saskatchewan offers an annual Forum. Topics at the Forum are particularly relevant to tax practitioners and members in industry working in the taxation area.

Access the CPA Saskatchewan website at cpask.ca for job postings, events, the current PD program, annual reports, the CPA SKConnect newsletter, “Become A CPA” information, FAQs on topics such as member renewal, CPD and licensing, the CPA Saskatchewan Rules and much more.

Through the CPA SK Portal, members and firms can update their contact information, complete the annual renewal and pay fees. In the CPA SK Portal, members report CPD, purchase Professional Development passports and register for professional development events.

Electronic News

CPA Saskatchewan publishes a quarterly electronic newsletter, called CPA SKConnect, to keep its members updated on changes to the profession, upcoming local events, local news, PD opportunities and other relevant areas of interest for CPAs.

In addition, CPA Saskatchewan publishes a special edition newsletter “Focus on Firms”, geared toward members working in public practice.

Career Support

As a CPA member, you have access to numerous resources, including job postings, local networking events, publications and a wide-range of career and business resources through CPA Canada.

Member Outreach

CPA Saskatchewan offers outreach sessions to the membership as a whole. As well, our staff are available to provide targeted presentations relevant to your specific situation or organization. There are annual orientation events for our newest CPA members.

Volunteer Opportunities with CPA

CPA Saskatchewan offers fulfilling opportunities for volunteers, including serving on CPA regulatory committees or the CPA SK Board, being a mentor, assisting with recruitment events, or providing Financial Literacy presentations.

Also, playing an active volunteer role in your community is a great way to support your community and province.

Advisory Services

CPA Saskatchewan offers guidance to members on a free, confidential and informal basis to assist in interpretation of CPA Saskatchewan’s Rules and provide direction with respect to the CPA Canada Handbook.

Scholarships & Bursaries Information

The CPA Saskatchewan Scholarship Fund Inc. (Fund) provides scholarships, bursaries or grants to individuals living in Saskatchewan who are enrolled in the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) or the CPA preparatory courses. The scholarships, bursaries and grants are funded primarily by donations.

Members are encouraged to support CPA Saskatchewan candidates and students by sharing the scholarship application with them and by donating to the fund. The CPA Saskatchewan Scholarship Fund Inc. is a registered charity and provides official tax receipts for donations.

PIVOT Your National Magazine

CPA Canada re-launched its magazine in May 2018 under the name PIVOT. The new magazine is being published six times per year. PIVOT is a must read for current and future business leaders and is available in both print and digital formats.
